Quilting

The “Beechy Bobbins” have been making quilts since 2006. The group consists of several community women who get together every second Thursday from early September to the middle of May. The quilts have been donated to the Ronald McDonald House, Hands on Street Ministry and a Domestic Violence women’s shelter in Saskatoon. More than a 1,000 quits have been made over the years. Much of the fabric is donated by the community, including the quilters. Purchases include batting, thread and backing for the quilts.
